A couple of weekends ago we took a quick little trip up to Nyssa, Oregon to hear my amazing cousin Whitney give her farewell talk. It was such a fun trip and we definately did not want to leave so soon, but we had a tight schedule to squeeze in the trip-here it goes.
We left Provo at 10 pm Saturday night (that's when Clancy got off work.) We took a short nap around 3 am. Got to Nyssa at 5 am. Slept until 8:30 am. Got up and went to church at 9 am. Played games, ate, chatted, laughed, and then laughed some more until 1 am when we went to bed. Got up at 4:30 am and left by 5 am for our trip home that included a quick stop in Boise.
What a crazy weekend but definately worth it. We had so much fun on the drive reading Clancy's mission journal. Then on the way home I was able to see where he lived in Boise til he was 12 and the elementary school he went to.
Here's at our stop in Boise-Clancy grew up doing landscaping right here. He was so happy to see it still looking good. Also if any of you know the lawn mower story this is where it happened. If you don't you should definately ask Clancy to tell it to you. Love you all and we'll hopefully post again sooner!
