We had an awesome, fun, and exciting weekend. Mags has been looking forward to this weekend for a VERY long time!
First was a dr. appointment for Baby Jojo! I let Mags come to this one to hear the heartbeat and also because she's fascinated with all things in the medical world. She asked me to take a picture of her while we waited to see the dr :) After the appointment she wanted to know why they didn't take my blood pressure with the pump thing (her dr. kit has a hand pump for the blood pressure, the dr. office used a mechanical one) and also why the dr. didn't listen to Jojo's heartbeat with the thing around his neck (the stethoscope). The dr. heard our conversation and was very impressed with her knowledge, I was also impressed with her questions. Sometimes her questions stump me!
Next we got to go to the BYU gymnastics meet! And yes that is ice cream on Maggie's face. What more could a girl ask for?
The next day was the fairy tea party at the library! I had to wait in line a few weeks ago at 7 am for tickets to this and they did not disappoint! They go all out with ballerinas, yummy finger foods, wands, and a fairy promenade. Mags and Mila loved it!
Later that day we hopped on the front runner train to go up to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Pointe! We had dino week at our house to prep for this trip. We ate dino oatmeal, made dino tracks, dino paper plates, acted like dinosaurs, watched The Land Before Time, and read lots of dinosaur books. We went with Clancy's family-including our family in from Maryland! The train ride, the bones, and digging in the sand were a big hit for the kids. I've never seen Curtis look so excited as he did on that day, both on the train and at seeing the dinosaur bones.
And then we all went to BED!!!
