Easter

Easter Saturday
The day before Easter was filled with A LOT of fun and A LOT of candy!
The Easter Bunny did a scavenger hunt for the kids. They had to follow the clues to little gifts around the house. Mags liked figuring out the clue and Curtis liked following her around the house :)

Curtis got these new trucks as his big prize. This boy LOVES trucks. He was very happy with the gift.

They both got new hooded towels. Mags got a cat and Curtis got a shark. (And yes, Maggie still has the hardest time sitting still long enough to look at the camera)
Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Blacks for some fun and yummy Easter crafts and egg hunt.

My very favorite picture from the day!

Then off to the very crazy BYU egg hunt at the stadium

Next stop, Grandma and Grandpa Curtis' for lunch and an egg hunt with  all my fam.
Excited to find some money in an egg!

EASTER SUNDAY
We gave the kids a new book about Christ. It is beautiful in every way and I recommend it to everyone old and young.
Here is the link: The Giver of Holy Gifts
After church I got this great picture of these two chillin in the backyard  dandelion patch.
Mags got a ukulele from the Easter Bunny. It just fits her too well.
My favorite picture of this day.
Then we did a hunt in our backyard and ate chocolate and candy til we couldn't stand it anymore. Curtis was very content with his chocolate bunny.
All month we had talked a lot about the resurrection of our Savior and the importance of it. Maggie loves us to tell her about Christ dying and being put in the tomb and then 3 days later... Then she gets all excited and says, "The best part is Jesus is ALIVE!" Her face literally lights up when she says it. It is so beautiful to see her testimony growing about the Savior.
Because of Him I have a family that can LIVE together forever.
If you haven't watched this, watch it. And if you have watched it you can watch it again and again :)
